    We are going to be linked to every Center, defence man and every wanna be Center in the whole league so that’s not surprising at all.

    I really think saying “links” is kind of disingenuous.

    If you listen to the clip Dreger is making two different points, he states first that based on conversations he’s had and the moved they have made so far it’s clear that Philly is open for business on just about everyone.

    Then Sekeres asks if there could be a possible deal between Philly and Vancouver (makes sense it’s a Vancouver based show), and really all Dreger says is that based on the fact that the Canucks are looking for a third line centre he *sees* a potential fit with Laughton, just based on the Canucks having a hole and Philly being open for business. But he’s just giving his opinion he’s not really at all saying that there is any tangible chatter that the teams are linked for this player again beyond the fact that Vancouver has a need and Philly has a possible solution.

    Local sports media helping each other stay in business. Gossip fuels most of that industry

    I bet you all the rumours are being leaked by Aquas burner accounts so management can get the hints on who he wants for his team.

    It’s going to be a long offseason with tons of potential player movement, sports radio has hours and hours to fill so you’re going to see any available player discussed at length.

    Any moron fan could have told you something similar.

    Philly = Fire sale.

    Canucks = looking for 3rd line center.

    Therefore, Canucks and Philly decent trade partners. The problem these morons never state is, we have literally no cap to make a trade work. We are over the cap and haven’t even re-signed Bear and don’t have a backup goalie. Unless we throw Silovs out there. But that’s still cap that needs to be added that we don’t have. Lol.
