do you want a coach that will tell your gm how to do his job and then leave you high and dry a month before the season starts when you don’t sign all the old shitty players he wants? then Patrick is the man for you!
great goalie, shitty person, bad to average coach..

If Roy never left, maybe there’s no Bednar as our HC. There’s definitely no Cale as an Av. I don’t harbor resentment and everything happens for a reason. Patrick is a Colorado legend and it’s time for bygones to be bygones. Hope he finds success in the NHL and happy to see him win the Mem Cup!

I still love him.

I love bednar, but I’d be lying if I said I didn’t wish it was him coaching us to a cup run. Seeing roy and sakic hoist it as players, and then as a HC/GM combo? I can’t imagine a more beautiful storybook stanley cup win than that.
I love roy, and will root for him no matter what.

I was in that stadium for his first game, about 150 feet away when he was pushing against the glass ready to fight the other coach.
All these years later my team has a parade, he’s seen his own success, and everything is good. No need to perpetuate any more bad blood, I wish him success.

Roy does not have the mental or emotional athleticism to coach in the NHL. He was an awesome goalie though!

Pleasantly surprised to see him admit his mistakes. It’d be fun to see him get another chance somewhere else.

Have him replace Bennett
