Stillman hit/fight: did the right team reap the reward?
Chase Stillman is getting a lot of praise for “saving” the season for the Peterborough Petes. On the other hand he was just as close to taking a five minute major penalty and costing the Petes season. It’s all about perspective.
This guy should stick to ping pong. If anyone is getting into a players face after a hit like that, he should expect to have to draw the guns. You don’t address that by harsh words, what would that do?
You cant skate over to a guy like that after what you view as a dirty hit, let the play die, then threaten the guys dog. Assuming you have no intention of fighting but %99.9 of the time they go after, Stillman was in the right to assume he was going to get attacked
This is such a bad take . 99% of the time someone skates over to you after a big hit . He’s not coming to say nice it but please don’t do it agian . They’re coming to fight . If you don’t want to fight let the whistle blow and Chirp after .
I love fighting hockey. But the arguments to keep fighting because it can be used in the strategic part of the game, or as a way to rile up you team, or to serve as a deterrent for dirty plays, are just dumb. If they keep it or ban it outright, it doesn't matter to me, because I love the game.

Your opinion does not mean that you are correct nor an expert.
Fucked around and found out. Good shit Chase.
Yeah right. Bank skated over and got in his face just to talk to Stillman

Yes it should be an option.
Bad take. The guy's skating at Stillman, and every person whose played the game knows, it's not for a hug.
Dude, what game were you watching? Bad take.
