  1. Steve Jessie and Adam could you please make a pod cast on here making your rooster prediction will be for the leafs lineup for the 23 / 24 season it would be very interesting for your followers on here

  2. Shanahan and Treliving have no power, the board decides. That is what we learnd the last few weeks and the board will never allow one of them to be traded.

  3. Leafs gotta build a bigger tougher meaner playoff type defence core to succeed in the playoffs resigning schenn is a start

  4. Leafs gotta build a bigger tougher meaner playoff type defence core to succeed in the playoffs resigning schenn is a start

  5. Can we talk more about how Calgary traded the most clutch player in the playoffs and then lost every OT and shootout game they played to miss the playoffs? Blame Markstrom and his dang-its all you like Matty T gives a team confidence they can win those games vs trying not to lose.

  6. "The owners want the cap to go up, and Bettman doesnt"

Is literally the worst take a human being had ever had. The owners want the cap to be 5$ then they donr have to pay players anymore than cents. Thats what makes them ALL happy

  7. I think treliving is gonna run it for one more year to see it from the inside then make the appropriate response and work around the edges for the one year

  8. Is Reilly the odd man out after the return Provorov got for Philly? If the core 4 can't move he's actually the 4th highest cap hit 🤷‍♂️. When do those Finnish kids make the jump??

  9. I have a feeling that Treliving is going to bring in Milan Lucic on a cheapish deal and I think it could be a pretty good signing. In a 3-4 line role he could be a useful player.

  10. Nothing like having a gambling sponsor to prop you up immorally but then you balance it out with a pride flag right afterwards in the SDPN logo. Crisis averted. No cancelling today, folks!
Next year, they will have a crack cocaine dispensary as a sponsor but Adam will have new pronouns speaking of looking like a pregnant woman ( 1:23 )

  11. Tell me you didn't watch the Ducks, without saying you didn't watch the Ducks.
SDPN: hold my beer, I got this.

  12. One thing I feel people don't discuss with Dubois is the fact that both Columbus and Winnipeg aren't particularly interesting destinations and are pretty far from cup contenders. He was drafted and traded to both places. It's weird to me that everyone is so pissed of at Dubois… so many players have forced/controlled their destiny and we praise them today, Lindros first amongst many.
I bet if he refused to sign in Arizona, no one would bat an eye… Why do Columbus and Winnipeg get a pass? Columbus has had no continued success in… ever. Jarmo's plan has clearly derailed and he's improvising. Damon Severson for 6+ and 8 years feels like a move done by a GM who knows he won't be here when that's an issue. Winnipeg? They have been turning in circles since Big Buff left. The culture there at this point I think can be confirmed as toxic, Patrick Laine warned us and Rick Bowness pretty much confirmed it this year.
So, why is it so bad with Dubois? cause he's young? I don't see why that's a factor. He's proven he is an effective player in this league. I know part of the answer is he is french Canadian, because online, people who call themselves progressive devolve into absolute brutes in an instant. Just read the comments. I have. lot's of 'I'm not racist, buuut" going around. So look yourselves in the mirror and ask yourselves… why do you care? Do you care when a college prospects doesn't sign with his draft team and goes to market? Is that pouting? Do you care when at 35 year old says he'll retire if he's traded? Do you care every time a player tries to control his destiny? Or….. is there some bias in there…

The only people who should really care are Columbus fans back then and Winnipeg right now. And you know what? For Columbus, I think it turned out ok: Laine and Roslovic are still there long term. For Winnipeg.. we'll see how it goes. I still think the most likely scenario prevails: No team wants to make a grand offer for Dubois because of the MTL factor, MTL doesn't want to make a grand offer for a player that is one year away from full autonomy… so I think it goes to arbitration, Dubois plays his year in Winnipeg, and if they can trade him as a rental at the deadline, that would be the best case scenario… But I don't know if you can trade a player that got an arbitration deal (I think there is a timer on trading said player but I don't remember what it is)… If that's the case, Winn should trade him for the best possible return, probably a sign and trade…. and I don't see MTL being that team honestly. They SHOULD ABSOLUTELY NOT be willing to pay what Winnipeg wants for Dubois.
But another team will provided hes signed before the trade. SO I'm guessing 8 year deal traded to Detroit right after. I think Dubois will see that the timing with MTL was just a year off. Spending for Dubois would break their structure and projections while they are still at the start of their rebuild. If Dubois REALLY, ABOVE ALL ELSE wants to play in MTL, he should've taken a one year deal with WIN, probably get dealt at the deadline and then sign there. So I get WIN fans being pissed, they actually have reason but… bright side? Dubois probably doesn't get what he wants either…. he'll end up with what is reported as his plan C or D, signing in his partner's city instead…. Detroit.

  13. To bad I can’t watch these podcasts anymore. The amount of f….bombs is out of control. I wish YouTube would make a monetize penalty for the language they use it’s not necessary. Grow up!!!!!!!!!?!!??

  14. Ty for being supportive and inclusive on this podcast esp during Pride month. Subbed!! ❤ Also ty for making this a podcast a woman who loves sports can enjoy

  15. I dare you to do a podcast without whining about the Refs..I double dare you😮

  16. Another great hockey name: Dmitri Yushkevich. Say it with a thick Russian accent. Fun!

  17. Living for the longer podcasts. I can sit here and listen to y'all for HOURS

  18. I still want to have the Ottawa Chronic. How many rappers own NHL teams? This is such a marketing opportunity for the NHL, to say nothing about image diversity.

And I would so buy an Ottawa Chronic jersey. I am so surprised no one has done a mockup online, the meme opportunities!

  19. From a Tampa fan, I'm glad Carter is doing great. I wish we could have kept him with almost everyone else on our 3 final runs.

  20. Why is Matthews untouchable? He's paid in the realm of players like McDavid and MacKinnon and he's NEVER had a postseason like either of them. Move HIM if you can, at least Nylander and Marner were looking like playoff players at the end.

  21. Adam's mom's final show was wonderful. Spoiler alert: an extra surprise was my old friends Glass Tiger playing her off with "Don't Forget Me When I'm Gone." The guitarist used to rent my mom's basement, which is now my basement!

  22. I think the though behind these columbus signings and id say anywhere between 7-11 million a year would be top line minutes.

Around 4-5 million is second pairing minutes… as the cap stands now. I think the bet with columbus is that in 2 years time around 6 million a year will become second pairing money, and theres still the possibility of these players outperforming 6 million a year theybare still relatively young.

  23. You need to remove that flag….your show is about hockey not promoting life styles….stand out dont blend in with the rest of the wokes

  24. Not convinced you can expect more success by getting rid of one of Matthews/Marner/Nylander. Be careful what you wish for, I guess.

  25. Here's why you can neither count on nor discount different results: hockey is random as hell in small sample sizes. You need to ensure you get a seat to try.

  26. If "find a way" is the answer to an obstacle, it suggests to me maybe it's not a very good plan to put forward.
