  1. Many bribes on the table and more guys will eventually move over. Money talks so inevitable. Product will be diluted as a result. Oh well

  2. Insane! Now that the PGA is in bed with MBS, might be a little easier to stick it to the PGA.

  3. Upvote this comment if you believe that Jay Monahan looks and sounds way more like a shady used car salesman rather than a "commissioner" of anything important.

    The count starts…now.

  4. It sounds like he sold the PGA to the Saudis. They might be the controlling side but the money side controls everything in the end. Gonna be interesting

  5. 'Unification with LIV' is totally wrong headline, this is not what has been announced, it is an agreement with PIF not LIV. Poor journalism, Golf Channel do better

  6. Reporter: why did you guys merge
Jay: everyone will understand in 3-5 years 🤣

  7. George Savaricas your statement that Rory was offered money by LIV Golf is uterly and completely incorrect.

  8. Sounds like the PGA needs a real union. Create new endorsement contracts to create a monetary fund to pay the middle and lower status golfers for a year, and have everyone make fun youtube content during the time to continue public support. No yolfers no yolf. Its not a new or novel situation. Imagine rory and tiger playing Scheffler and Morikawa once a week on youtube with the looser doing something legit embarrassing or have a legit wager such as a million dollars – that would hold me over for a year until the king of the great pile of sand and oil looses interest.

  9. They lost so many good players to LIV they were bleeding money arterially with these Lawsuits. I wish Monahan would`ve told the Saudis that if they wanted to invest in the PGA Tour stop killing journalists and beheading people.

  10. Not sure how new leadership would restore trust in the players anyways .. the new commissioner will be some type of respected member within the PGA/golf community and promise transparency with the players but at the end of the day they're simply just a 'puppet' to the real higher ups and will only fake what looks like transparency but will inevitably always be hiding something from us and the players. Just how Monohan did. Money is the real commissioner and it always will be.

  11. And now you have LIV players telling us to forgive the Saudis. You just F'd America's game. This fu@ktard must go

  12. The new Tour should be called The Khashoggi Tour in honor of Jamal whose life was taken by the new owners of the tour, I want to hear from the sponsors, Presidential hopefuls,Congress and what they want to say to the 9/11 victims families I thought the sport I loved for the last 55 years was better than this.

  13. Jay has been given too much power to get revenge on LIV and LIV players, when he has taken the same Saudi money, my advice please do not use this power to come down on LIV, it will backfire

  14. Monahan has turned out to be as big an arrogant, line my own pockets, zero principles other than money, hypocritical ass as Greg Norman … they should both be banned from any further involvement in official golfing matters

  15. The Tour and LIV are NOT merging. this title is a boldfaced lie. LIV may or may not continue to exist but they are NOT part of this merger.

  16. Just wondering….the 911 families…are they using fuel for their cars…are the purchasing and dealing with companies associated with Saudi Arabia? Why target golf and not the rest….?

  17. When the "facts" change, intelligent people change their minds … the rest is just B.S. Like other corporate actions, profits first, people later (understandably, as that is their "purpose" and objective). LIV had a better product, more money and JM saw the writing on the wall (especially if Rahmbo went LIV) so he negotiated a "surrender" under the best terms he could get. Moving forward, a better "product" will produce more profits and some people (players) will likely have their careers sacrificed … like so many others.

  18. Monahan is not just a hypocrite as he expected to be called, but he is really a crappy American citizen and human being. God should be ashamed of creating this excrement.

  19. We on the PGA Tour need to stand for the history of the game of golf and the values of who we are as players and tournaments. Our traditions are more important than a big paycheck. Giving in to money, even if it’s one hundred billion dollars, you should never sacrifice your love of the game for money.

  20. F##k you!!! I've been playing and watching golf all my life and will continue playing golf because I love it and it's a great game but I'll never watch a pga event again
