Kyle is way too abrasive and offers little to no insight. Calm down the chirps buddy. Its a podcast not a locker room…
I have a feeling that Gabe Perreault drops because of his size and then years later goes top 5 in a redraft.
Reinbacher is more of a 13-18th best player in this draft, but lots of teams are going to draft based on need so there's a slim chance he'll drop to us. But, there's no way Michkov will drop to us.
If we live in the universe where he does drop to us, guess what the Nucks management will do? Definitely pass on him because they need to win "now" and end up not winning "now", which is what usually happens.
It's too hard to predict #11 without knowing who is available, what surprises happen in the top 6, where Michkov goes, etc. Best defenceman in this draft is probably not as strong as defencemen in other drafts. I still want the Canucks to take a centre with size, speed and skill. Whichever centre remaining with the most of those attributes is who I want.
If Vancouver is truly all in, then buying out OEL's contract is an absolute must, they will not make the playoffs if he's on the team, he is that much of a liability.
There will be a few studs available at 11, I’m pumped to see who we get. Reinbacher probably won’t be there if we can land Barlow, Dvorsky or trade back & land Matthew Wood.
If we traded back to 17 or 19, Trevor Beggs who would Vancouver target 🎯?
Wood, Fantilli, Brindley were playing in the NCAA because they graduated fast tracked highschool in 3 years
