  1. IMO the Wings will either trade up from 9 or 17 to get their target. Logically, they will trade up from 9 if they can grab Michkov and trade up from 17 if they can grab Pellinkka, Reinbacher, or maybe Willanger. Also, I would NOT trade either 1st round pick from this year for any player…too many top prospects. Hopefully, the Wings start actually winning so 1st rounders will be later going forward and more tradeable. They could trade one or both of their 1st rounders next year with 2nd rounders this year

  2. Cat gets 40 goals with Kane feeding him the puck, who is setting him up in Det? I think it's a great pickup….. for the right price.

Side note, Steve needs to trade up and make sure we get Ryan Leonard

  3. Forget about debrincat. 8-9.5 per for a 5’7 forward who’s much likely a 30 goal scorer and who’ll be pushed around in the playoffs and dissapear. Funny how Bertuzzi wasn’t part of the rebuild cause of his age but guys who are 12-18 months younger are. Stick to the rebuild . Not worth the price we’ll have to pay to land him

He’s not a premier forward and not worth anything close to 9

  4. With the Columbus Blue Jackets loading up on defensemen and Adam Boqvist moving further down their depth chart. Could you see Yzerman swapping Filip Zadina for Adam Boqvist? Both players could use a change of scenery. Would a swap of 1 for 1 be enough, or would Detroit have to add a bit to sweeten the deal?
