The ideal trade would be sending Yamamoto and Ceci to Philadelphia for Konecny. Don’t think it’s very likely but I think Ceci has to go.
If this defence is going to be improved, someone has to go. Ceci makes a lot of sense. The Oilers have one really good defense pair, Bouchard and Ekholm, so if we could get another good defense pair, that would be amazing.
Replacing Ceci with a 1 or 2 RD would be expensive. Can't see him going until possibly trade deadline if he hasn't bounced back to year 1 form. Yamo and Foegelle are a possibility money wise. It's always a balancing act. We have to bring cheap up and comers onto the roster to prevent logjams at the AHL level BUT we're trying to Win Now. We'll see what happens. Take care all.
