Habs have 9 NHL signed D man, Savard, Matheson, Edmunston, Harris, Ghule, Barron, Xhekaj, Kovacevic, Wideman. What would they need Klingberg for? They already need to send 2 away. It's like if they had 6 centers and you say they want to sign a 7th center. It's just ridiculus.
He's gonna be 31 when the season starts, its probably not at all wise for him to try another 1 year deal, he should be looking for his last maybe 5-6 year contract. He probably could have gotten 7 last year for 6 but he thought he was worth more like 8, its a big risk for him to take another one year, but hey good luck to him. I'm also not convinced teams would part ways with a 1st for him, he's not the playoff type dman and by that i mean he can get points and all, but at the deadline contending teams are usually looking for players who clear their goalie's crease and for cheap and since his offensive abilities are becoming more and more limited as he ages it might not be worth it for teams…
No way, in fact we need to move Savard/Edmundson. Adding Klingberg would imo just make things worse. Leave room for the kids to play and develop. We have too many vets on the back end taking up room as it is.

Smart…the player gets a great cap hit and has a chance to win a cup in the playoffs.

Not a fan of Klingberg. We don’t need any more dmen
This guy has been linked to MTL for a looooong time, even with the previous regime
