Let’s not forget that in the playoffs, even with decreased scoring from Nuge, Kane, Yamamoto and Hyman, the Oilers scored enough goals that a team with a semblance of a defensive structure, would be able to win. It’s more than just a top six player. We keep wanting to outscore the deficiencies.
The oilers were fine during the playoffs but the refs sure didn’t help us at all!…we outshot Vegas 75 to 52 in the final two games but our goalie didn’t stop anything…it’s not just the players or the defense …it’s a combination and poor coaching by woodcroft!
