The excuses after giving a guy 68m … laughable
Lou the excuse maker bought high on bo and was fleeced into thinking bo was top liner material to work with barzal. He only signed bo long term before bo walked to save his wrinkled old ass from further scrutiny. Overuse? haha it was either bo being dragged down by playing with sub par forwards or bo can't elevate sub par wingers being an average forward himself. lou doesn't know the difference. Maybe get an actual top line winger to try bo/barzal with to find out. Lou couldn't sell that b s to a b s salesman. Isles fans shouldn't buy it either. Until lou does what needs to be done fk him. I will not back lou. And otto is just another big slow underskiled guy that wont make a difference at nhl level. Typical lou guy needs to be replaced by someone that can skate with some scoring ability.
After the trade there was no way Lou would have let Bo approach unrestricted free agency without signing him to a contact especially after giving up so much to acquire him.
