Big fan of Damon Severson and I think he’s a good fit for the blue jackets but 8 years and 6.25 Million is a little much for him
I think if columbus could target someone like Ryan orielly, they'd be a very good team. They are basically just missing a top center
6.25 as a number will look better in 3 years. 6.25 for a 32 year old Severson will not look better.
The only move I want Columbus to make is getting a new GM

Gavrikov signed for 5.75 and hes not a 1D. Severson can run a PP and a righty which last I heard only make up 40% of the market. So yeah you'll need to pay more for a RHD. We got the top FA on the market & the rest of the teams can fight over the table scraps.
