Congratulations to the Vegas Golden Knights on winning their first Stanley Cup Title, in just their sixth season of existence.
-Tonight marked the second consecutive night that a professional team in Southern Florida lost its respective championship game(The Miami Heat lost last night to the Denver Nuggets, and the Florida Panthers lost tonight). This reminded me of last year when the Philadelphia Union, and Philadelphia Phillies lost the 2022 MLS Cup/2022 World Series on the same day(and then the Philadelphia Eagles lost the Super Bowl four months after that).
-This is the second straight year a professional team in Nevada has won a championship title(the Las Vegas Aces won the 2022 WNBA Finals).
This has been quite an exciting month for sports in general.
