I would never move Seider for Nylander, let alone Marner or Matthews. Seider should and will be the cornerstone of the Red Wings for the next 15 years. Save for maybe McDavid or Bedard, Seider is untouchable. The Canadian sports media making projections on what Toronto needs and wants but cannot get. Draft your own damn stud Toronto!
His deal ends 23/24, he will get a big contract from SteveY this summer.
Great job as always Kevin! Wings fan here. I’d pull the trigger, get Nylander and try to find a more offensive defenseman. Stevie Y then tries to acquire Gudas and Tom Wilson.
Tavares is a PPG player every year, forever and has a crazy good faceoff %. His main problem is his foot speed.
I agree he's not worth 11M, but the reason he won't get traded is because he has a full NMC
Also, the LOW end for Matthews is probably 12.7M (100k up from MacKinnon). I'd be surprised if it's much higher than 13M for 4-5 years
Seider is gonna be an elite dman for a decade. Trading him would be stupid unless it was for 1 of a few players.

John Tavares production at this point has not declined and they couldn’t trade him even if they wanted to. He’s got a full no movement.
