In this edition of Locked on Capitals Dan talks about how Connor McMichael is making the most of his opportunities in Hershey and that he’s looking for a bigger role with the Capitals next season. Spencer Carbery is also looking forward to working with the younger group “You have young players that are hungry to prove that they’re capable National Hockey League players and then you’ve got a group of veteran players that feel like they got a bit of a chip on their shoulder and they’re ready to prove something, that we’re still a very strong team in the National Hockey League,” he added. “So that experience in that, in lower leagues and dealing with that but that’s the mix, that’s what I’m trying to bring together and make sure that we compete at a real high level.” Later Dan talks about what players in Hershey will potentially be playing on the Caps in the fall. Protas and Beck Malenstyn and potentially Lucas Johansen if he’s ready. Ethen Frank and Hendrix LaPierre may require some more time. Then Dan welcomes Justin Trudel of Nova Caps as they talk about free agent and trade targets for the Caps.

I believe due to the Capitals cap issues they will require some young talent to fill in the bottom lines. If they move on Kuznetsov, Evgeny and Mantha, Anthony don't feel there's enough Cap space for high level star power.
I really hope we don't get Patrick Kane. Like your guest stated don't need a 100% offense player with major injury.
Hershey so far has laid an egg in the Calder Cup. They haven't scored in the first two games and let up 9. Something is up with the team to have flatlined.
