Not a Vegas fan but holy shit I love that.

He earned one of them, got robbed of the Conn Smythe. The other two? Child, please. And no, you couldn’t win as the go to guy the offense was built around. You were a potential 50 goal scorer who never topped 40 because you couldn’t be relied on to lead the offense like you kept saying you could and then got sour when the obvious was pointed out. You had one great playoff run and a consecutive games streak while playing a soft game. Congrats. Enjoy your rings and fuck Brian Burke.

It’s wild how a fan base and cities media can be so toxic that a player leaves succeeds elsewhere, and they still act like the player did them wrong. 🙄

Yeah but he by himself can’t and couldn’t win…it wasn’t like the Leafs had the team vegas has lmao.

One more reason why I like Kessel.

He gave Sidney Crosby a hell of a run for his money for the Conn Smythe the first year in Pittsburgh. Phil is a special guy for sure, too bad he didn’t get to be more involved in this cup run. Still a champion with another massive ring.

They probably meant he wouldn’t win one in Toronto. If he stayed he’d still have 0 rings

Another entry in the Legacy of Failure.

It takes a lot of ball to flex on winning after sitting in the press box for 3 rounds

Did he even play a single game in the playoffs?

Not a Phil Kessel fan but I enjoy anyone rubbing it in Toronto’s face.

Good for him. He played in 2 playoff games. But every team needs a cheer leader.
