The news for the Anaheim Ducks has been very positive this off season, then they got hit with this bomb. Their likely #2 pick in the NHL draft, Adam Fantilli, has announced he will go back to school at the University of Michigan. Now what will the Ducks do in the draft?

He didn’t say that he’s forsure going boomer
One way the ducks could avoid that is by Drafting Fantilli's brother, Luca. I can't find much news on him but from what I can tell he seems OK at the college level and might have a chance to developed into a decent bottom six NHL Defenseman. Drafting him and sending him to the Gulls might be the motivation Adam needs to turn pro. They might even end up playing together if Luca can take the step to the next level.
What i see of how the ducks developed their prospects these recent years, they won't rush to bring their prospect to nhl, so it's fine if fantili wants one more year with michigan.
