TSN Hockey Insider Darren Dreger details why Michael Andlauer was always the frontrunner to own the Senators from the NHL’s standpoint, and Dave Poulin shares why fans and players in Ottawa should be excited that Andlauer won the bidding.

Absolutely.
Realistically, fans should be excited the team is staying.
I think anyone who isn't is overlooking a) the possibility of the team relocating (it was close to 45% at the time of the offer going down) and b) how much THIS owner wants to win.
Reynolds' group had support after Wrexham won, and something that Sens fans care most about, next to keeping their team.
But Andlauer is very hands on and knows what he wants, and it's more than publicity and social media clout.
The guy doesn't mind getting some attention, but it isn't what drives him.
Unlike media hungry hockey types in Toronto, that's the right attitude in this league.
We going to expect The Senators are going not be exist anymore like the last one
Hire Patrick Roy as coach. Today. Hes available and closeby in Quebec. Follow Vegas' lead: always upgrade. Otta-Roy is certainly an upgrade over Smith.
With all of the hype, it popped like a balloon, and the energy has been sucked out of the building, again. Debrincat is leaving. I think Justin Trudeau has destroyed us all
