Wow so depressing of prospect report. No sure fire top end guys in system that can score or will make a difference speed or skill wise at nhl level. And just reaching at #49 for anyone that wont be a difference maker as well. It never ends. Just more bottom liners/6th-7th d men at best for the coffers. No players to move to get some prime draft picks. Not enough draft capital to move around in the draft or hone in on a dropping talent. And to top it off lou will probably trade the '24 first for more bottom line/bottom pairing crap the wont make a difference. And isles 25th ranked system is too favourable of a ranking. Just depressing… And lou has no clue and doesn't give a damn about the sad state of isle system. That's why varly/mayfield should have been moved tdl. That's why nelson isles best trade chip should be moved for picks or prospects. That's why lou may face a big question next season with sorokin especially if isles are out of it at tdl. I say next two tdl's should be used to move out lee, jpg, palmieri, etc. Any deadweight up front-the aging slow sorespot of isles for whatever isles can get for them. And start getting picks for '24-'25 drafts. As i have said the gm that inherits lou's mess he leaves them-i pity him. Shero couldn't clean up lou's mess in five years with nj. Only three years later with lotto luck and focusing on speed and skill at draft has fitzgerald finally dug nj out of that hole. Sadly going by that a 5-8 year mess awaits next gm. Buffoon gm milbury once accumulated 9 first round picks between '97-'00. Lou may trade that many away the longer he stays as gm.
