I wouldn’t want us to pursue Killorn if he wants a five-year contract. That’s too long at that age.
We can’t make the same mistake as we did with both Okposo and Skinner. They have been good for us but they have also had bad years and then they were considered un-tradeable.
Pat Kane depends on the term. If we could sign him for a higher salary with shorter term $5mx3y that would be considered favorably but if it’s five years then no.
Ryan O’Reilly would be interesting but he’s not the same player anymore. I take him on the third line but not in the top-two lines.
On that term I would take O’Reilly. His numbers were very good in the playoffs.
Tarasenko would be awesome in this team. Let’s say we trade Olofsson for a defender and replace him with signing Tarasenko in free agency.
There is ZERO chance O’Reilly returns. Not only did he ask to leave in a very negative way, but Adams has no tolerance for players that don’t want to be in Buffalo.
You want out, he’ll ship you out for the first good deal he finds, so there’s no chance he’d have any interest on bringing that attitude into this locker room he’s building.
I really don't like any of them on this team actually. Older damaged goods. This is a young man's game!
I wouldn’t take Pat Kane for 1 year 1 million.
All those geek stats are overrated, if you took Pat Kane and played him him 4 of the best defensive players in league his stats would then be great. Ollofsson and Mittelfat both stink at back checking and they were on the same line. Put Ollofsson with Crosby or McDavid and he would be a plus player and get 40 goals

If Adams signs a UFA forward or trades for a forward it will be a PK specialist like Acciari, Connor Brown or Kamp.
