Bruins rotated goalies all year successfully … now they stick with an obviously tired and beaten Linus Ullmark… Montgomery needs to wake up and go back to what worked all year both in goal and with the lines.

Montgomery goes "I think Linus is fine", and then Linus's attitude here is just like "hey, sometimes u have bad games. it happens". Hes clearly dealing with some sort of injury AND mental block, hes playing at like 40%. Need to make the proper adjustment and put Swayman in. Grzelcyk has to come back and play with McAvoy. Frederic needs to play instead of Foligno.
Sway should have already been in rotation like the regular season. MUST make the change because the cats have Ulmarks number. Too many rebounds and shots he clearly saw but was cleanly beat. But I got a bad feeling that Monty is going to stick with Linus and the Bruins season will be over. Damit
Offense wasn’t really an issue, five goals isn’t anything to scoff at, the goals weren’t really flukes, and there was a shorty. The call for debrusk grazing the puck while trying to regrip his stick was such a ticky tac representation of the league we have today (10 years ago that would likely never have been challenged). The intensity and inent on the defensive side was lacking. Hopefully having their backs against the wall for the first time in a while will help reset the collective mindset of the team. Swayman wouldn’t be a bad decision for game 7, he hasn’t been at his very best this year, but he’s not a farm league bum and he’s already had playoff experience before. I know they can pull through but from what we’ve seen, I can’t say with total confidence that they will.
