  1. Luka can retire a Mav not ever making it to a championship, people trying to dictate Luka leaving, loyal players stay and try to win, not join super teams.

  2. I love when Rafael asks "Why is there so much pressure on Dallas? Luka is 24!" I think to myself that all this pressure is internal and no other franchise with a 24 year old is under this much. SGA for example tanked for 2 years and still hasn't been to a playoffs with the Thunder. Where is their pressure?!

  3. If it is Lively or Hendricks, I would take Hendricks all day long. I am scarred of a skinny rookie center as the last line of defense. On defense he will get pushed around worse than KP and on offense non existing. He isn't setting good screens.

  4. This is completely off topic but did anyone else see that bleacher report article a few days ago regarding a 2014 re-draft? It said that in a 2014 re-draft, Dwight Powell would be taken at 14th overall. I know he gets heavily criticized by fans, but I would really like him to come back on a veteran minimum. He’s a fine backup center and a great guy to have in the locker room. Everyone on the team loves him and signing him to a vet min wouldn’t be a bad idea.

  5. Missing the playoffs is a good thing 🤷‍♂️ zero rush take the pick and make some moves build over the years

  6. Barlowe finally asked the million dollar question. WHY ARE WE RUSHING??? Luka is 24!! We miss the playoffs? Ok, we also had a roster altering Mid/late season trade that's going to take time to work. That doesn't mean you go all out and trade your future assets to win right now. That doesn't guarantee success. Draft, develop cheap contacts friendly rookie(s) and maybe by the time Lukas contract is up, they're developed and a pivotal reason why Luka stays.

  7. If you cant get something in a trade you love or move up then take the best player available.

  8. Get Vanderbilt+Bamba+17th pick for 10 th pick or get Kuminga+19th pick or get Kuz+Deni Avidja for 10th pick outright.

  9. I just hope the Mavs (Nico) take a long term approach to the draft, and make a move (use the pick) to add a piece that will benefit down the road. Build through the draft and smart trades, stop hoping to sign a top tier free agent, and be smart with the new CBA rules.

  10. Did Rafael just take a hammer and crushed the stupid narrative about Luka wanting out? I completely believe that that's just national media trying desperately to manifest Luka going to LA or some stupid shit like that. Luka's shown no indication whatsoever that he wants out.

  11. Finally someone said it. Rafael nailed it. Anthony Black is not a great fit in Dallas. It's Hendricks or trade it. just trade the pick if you cant draft Hendricks

  12. I think you nailed his mentality- Luka believes he can win with anybody. Media is one creating he will leave if we don’t win now. (Except Wood)

  13. Lmfao good job please keep pushing “Don’t need to rush he’s 24!” Yea let’s waste a decade of a dudes career just to “try on draft picks” which will never be lottery picks again and the Mavs won’t have a pick again until 2026 draft 🤣. The absolute most casual entitled fan base in the NBA. Imagine sitting here and literally saying you are happy the Mavs aren’t contending every year of Luka’s career. Livley and Black suck ass y’all love mediocre bums. Livley can’t even move his feet at all, he’s way to dam weak and small to even make a difference let alone the center position in this current NBA is the most important on the defensive end. What do you just run back fucking Powell & McGee until you HOPE Kidd plays Livley and if he is even good. Black can’t shoot a god dam ball and he is a turnover machine and another god dam 1 dimensional player. Not even Luka can make Black shoot better with open shots dude shot under 30% from 3 and he needs the ball in his hands to be successful has ZERO off ball skills outside of cutting which anyone can do.

  14. I love Rafael's perspective on the Luka/Dallas situation. All the short term panic moves are going to bite them… and the neurotic fans/media constantly "Luka is gonna ask out" stuff is just ridiculous sometimes.

  15. THANK YOU RB! PREACH! Why are they not building a young core around him when he is still young. He will thank you in 2 years instead of leave you when you have no assets left. It seems so simple to me.

  16. Please don’t trade the pick! Draft Lively so Luka can have a solid big to grow wit! His jumper isn’t bad either! Great rim protector. Issa no brainier, if he’s there

  17. 😎😎 I myself am from Slovenia. Trust me on one thing: We Slovenians are only loyal to our family, to our friends and to our home country. We certainly don't feel any loyalty to other cities or to other countries, eventhough we might work there for a few months a year. And why should we exactly? So, i can assure you, that Luka is the typical Slovenian in this aspect, believe me. And frankly, Luka doesn't owe Dallas a thing. He is not from Dallas, he is not from America. And also, he came to the NBA already polished and as a decorated European Superstar. Luka was not like Giannis or Jokić who were just some unknown role players upon arriving to the NBA, and were therefore very gratefull and thankfull to their teams for believing in them and drafting them.

Luka just like every other player didn't have any power to choose to which team he would go, and if he would have that power, he would certainly choose a much more competent, relevant and successfull franchise than Dallas. Luka is a fierce competitor and he is used to constantly winning from his days at Real Madrid and for his home country Slovenia. He has already admited numerous times, that he is unusually obsessed with winning. That is why everyone can notice those anger outbursts of his on the court all the time whenever he is losing.

Trust me, he will definatelly not put up with a incompetent franchise and with a bad losing team for far to long. And throughout this recent year, Luka has started already to show his own frustrations with this team and with this franchise alot more on the court and of the court. He is not happy at all with how things have been going for the past 5 years with this franchise and it has been going downhill every passing year.

Luka will definatelly leave instantly in a year or two, if untill then Dallas doesn't build a serious, competent, contending championship team around Luka throughout the course of the next season. You can bet on it.😎😎
