I 100% believe Mitchell Miller should not have a future in hockey. At 14 you're old enough to know that smashing a developmentally challenged kids head into a brick wall and forcing him to eat candy out of a urinal is beyond wrong. His second chance shouldn't be in hockey, it should be in society overall, but you shouldn't get to live out your dream when that's the kind of person you are. Put him in years of therapy, have him meet with leaders in the black and handicapped communities, make him really, truly realize what was wrong and make amends and then make him sit in a desk job for 50 years until he retires a productive member of society. But this guy deserves to never skate on NHL ice in front of thousands of screaming fans.
The problem with the other studio room, The Entertainment Guy, is that there is no kitties.

What bertuzzi lacks in skill or skating he makes up for in his super high IQ and work ethic. He rarely loses board battles and makes any line that he’s on better, even if he’s with Frans Nielsen and Adam Erne. Super underrated nationally where he just gets portrayed as a sort of pest.
I don’t get why they would need to keep pushing back the start date. If you need a Canadian division for a month or so, then do it waiting till February is way too long. Nba starting around Christmas.

It is unusual for either the Detroit Red Wings or Detroit Tigers to go to arbitration over player contracts. The Illitch's own both teams, and they typically like to settle contracts with players before it goes to arbitration. So I guess in a virus world, GM Yzerman is taking a different approach with negotiations. Miss the days of the no cap world.

A little more news for Wings fans….yesterday Mo Seider nearly caught a skate to the neck while playing in Sweden. Fortunately he's OK…thank god.
The kid was 14. Let's be honest, who among us didn't do something that would be considered 'bullying' by today's standards in Grade 9/10. If we're going to start blacklisting people for stupid shit they do as barely-teenagers, we're going to have a really short list of people to choose. I am willing to suggest that there were extensive discussions with Arizona before they made that pick, and are convinced that he deserves to not have a barely-teenage incident destroy his professional career.

Shannon, I think there are a lot of people who are saying that he should never play in the NHL. There is a segment of the population that does not believe in redemption and forgiveness, and that what you do as a child should define you as an adult.
