The NHL buyout period begins today so the question remains, will the New York Islanders buy out the final year of Josh Bailey’s contract or will GM Lou Lamoriello find a trading partner to take some or all of Bailey’s $5 million cap hit off the Isles hands. No trade value. Buy out would save $2.5 mil. on cap. Would be perfect yote if ltir'd. I wonder what would oil give isles for sorokin/pelech if isles are out of it at tdl? oil get their goalie/shut down d man. Isles get ?
