  1. cold-heartedly cuttin' the gristle off the canadian sports "beef" from within the tell-tale still-beatin' heart of the provincial hinterlands … as all-consuming corporate head-choppers clinically lay waste to the fast-dying media mouthpiece landscape … with the seeming apocalyptic endgame finality being a "johnny larue"- like "one camera, one mike" broadcast scenario from deep within the "big smoke" of the "centre of the universe" … as the haunting, ever-so familiar chant of "go leafs go!", "go leafs go!" echoes across the great wasteland expanse of the "true north strong and free"…

  2. I recall feeling awful in 94 when the rangers won but I small part of me felt really happy for Doug Lidster for being the one to drive the coup d’grace. He was not treated well after serving as one of the steadiest D men the franchise had ever had up to that point.

  3. Maybe there is an opportunity for a wealthy owner to open a few new sports radio channels across the country. I still listen to AM radio in my car I know I’m not alone in this and I can’t see them dropping the Edmonton station because of lack of listeners it doesn’t make sense
