NO ONE has done this in 30 years

Tonight against the Toronto Maple Leafs, Oilers captain Connor McDavid did something that only 3 players have done in the last century. Thats right, just the 3rd player in 100 YEARS and the first last 30 years. He scored 2 goals in 5 consecutive games as his streak looks to continue on Friday against the Winnipeg Jets. This was a dominant game by the Edmonton Oilers that saw a rare Ryan Nugent-Hopkins fight as he took on Justin Holl in an unlikely battle, 2 goals from McDavid and an odd Maple Leafs goal that everyone but Marner and Kampf though was off side. I cover it all in todays NHL hockey video recap!

  1. stop making up fake achievements/stats. This isnt an "achievement" its not DiMaggio's 50 game streak this is nothing. Im getting sick of sports all sports and their ridiculous made up records.

  2. McDavid is an absolute beast and such a joy to watch. Btw congratz on 10k buddy, keep it coming. 😉🇨🇿

  3. But look at those passes draisaitl is laying down… I swear that shot on net rebound was 100% intentional set play. you saw how connor was just there waiting for it to come to him

  4. You guys are missing one glaring statistic this narrator never pick out. Yes, his goals are right up there with The Great One but one thing he'll fall well short of is assist. Go back and look, McDavid's assists compared to Wayne's says a story you kids might expereince soon in the playoff this year. ALL teams will shut down McDavid at ALL cost in the playoffs, until The Oilers arn't a one trick pony then I might give them a chance.

  5. That whole sequence on the 5th goal looked like Allstar game defending from the Leafs. Just pitiful.

  6. Now hold the phone and talk about words and how they matter. When you claim an historic event and it has been done before, it may be absolutely amazing and awesome, but remember every single play in any sport is historic, as is every breath we all take. It's marketing but I rather enjoy this channel and if you choose to fall into this place of language, all good.

  7. It's amazing that his team still sucks as bad as it does. Maybe they should try to play some defense as a team. His stats may not be as good but the team might win a few more games.

  8. McDavid has never really been in a challenged protection mode for himself or his teammates. (can't & won't fight, as it's not necessary in this child play-time hockey via the rules (can't compare today to yesterday) And you wonder why fans & the league overall have no true respect for him in regard to any records. (They may go in the book, but they don't count ")
