Behind the Gear PODCAST Episode 58: Travis Konecny

Becoming an NHL’r. It was great to have the chance to sit down with Travis Konecny of the Philadelphia Flyers for a second time on Behind the Gear. He’s always fun to chat with, his funny sense of humour and honesty about his journey to the NHL is great to hear. Travis discusses how hard it is to become an established NHL’r, shares some great opinions on how the top players continue to stay at the top of their game and talks about how he continues to work on his game in order to be effective at the top level. Travis has worked hard to become a regular in the Philadelphia Flyers line up and strives to improve every year, it is always refreshing to sit down with young motivated athletes who share their ups and downs throughout their journey.
Oh!! and we do get into some fishing, golf and for the young players out there how important sleep and nutrition are for your performance. We hope you enjoy the episode!

  2. This is such a good interview and interesting discussion of what gives players an edge in the game. Really like how gracious Travis is about other NHLers and their skills.
