Когда у Red Wings была русская пятерка, они феерили. Очень интересен был бы эксперимент, когда в команде был бы подбор по национальному признаку. Русские, канадцы , шведы, финны, или другие варианты, но принцип селекции такой. Просто заставить конкурировать внутри команды, но работать на общее созидание. Это привлекло бы очень много людей в коммерческом плане и заставило команду играть на максимуме возможностей. Просто, когда люди общаются на языке на котором думают, сильно выше скорость реакции и взаимодейсвия. (this is the Russian language)

Detroit has no size. Not a single tough guy on that team. Teams like Ottawa can bully them anytime they want if they really want to. The Red Wings would get physically dominated in playoff hockey. It’s not a knock on them, they aren’t ready yet and Yzerman hasn’t built them that way, which I don’t understand because he knows what the NHL is like and what teams need better than anyone.

Не задался день у Детройта. В конце первого периода в начале второго серия удалений у "красных" привела к 2 шайбам в их ворота, потом кипер стал пускать шайбу за шайбой, а в третьем и защита раз за разом проваливалась. А у Оттавы с исполнителями впереди всё в полном порядке, несколько раз наказывали Детройт за грубые позиционные ошибки их защитников.
