I won't get into all the reasons, but I think you are wrong about Lance. I agree with you mostly but Lance not playing last year may have been for a reason or two we don't see. I think Lance MIGHT be a thing this year.

As usual, start off the hour long headline with “why we don’t do more content” stale. Seriously do the story and be done with it, instead there’s all this fluff about nothing and very little time actually covering the stories. If it’s not a big story, don’t take an hour to draw it out. That’s what becomes stale, get to the point. 5 minutes of bs before you even got to the reason I came to watch. This is what kills tv shows, they try and stretch the little nugget that was actually good into a season. Won’t make content every day but you’ll do a weeks worth of talking about nothing. Not much different than doing bs content 5-6 times a week.
