  1. Grant McCagg says about 50 ridiculous takes during every draft and then when 1 or 2 are correct he’s like, “I told you so”.

  2. I mean between Carlson and Slafkovsky its 50-50 edge to carlson bcs he is C but hard to choose

  3. If there were 2 players same stats height weight everything the centre will always be ranked higher if slaf was a centre I could see him being pick 3-6 in this draft

  4. On paper maybe Carlsson, but dont forget Wright. He was first before meeting the habs, who knows if Slakovsky wil have outshine Carlsson.

  5. as a habs fan i think wright is a better prospect but slav is the better player to have in a lockerroom by far and wright was not the right pick thats why he went 4 and you forget hutson hes a better prospect than slav and carlsson imo he would probably go 4 after fantilli than carlsson slav cooley smith benson wright cause of his attitude then nemec or jiricek

  6. Carlsson has far better hands, IQ, edges, passing, net driving, transitions. Slaf is bigger, equal shooting, equal acceleration and speed. Leo is much better than slaf draft year. If we’re talking what slaf is rn, than Leo is even better

  7. For reference, now ask Mccagg about Dvorsky vs Carlsson and tell me the guy isnt out of his gd mind

  8. LEO CARLSSON no question, if Slaf draft this year he will probably go between 10th and 20th.

  9. Carlsson is better and its not close, Slafkovsky would be 15th in this draft.

  10. Slafkosvsky's carrer high will be around 60-70 pts. and avarage about 50-60.

  11. Certain draft pundits put too much emphasis on international tournaments. They get lots of coverage compared to the league games but the reality is it’s a much smaller sample size. Leo Carlson has much better counting numbers over the complete body of work than Slafkovsky, and history tells us that’s more indicative of NHL projection than small, albeit catchy, snapshots.
