  1. Bro doesn’t even have Bedard first 💀

  2. RemQuatre

This is based on a model, and my take is that the model parameters could be refined.

Notably missing in that list: Leonard, Moore, Dvorsky, Sandin-Pellika.

  3. AmsroII

Model says we have the first overall pick. Matvei Michkov.

  4. HabitApprehensive889

he had slaf at 33 last year, Hutson at 20 I believe

  5. RyanWalts

Looks like this model overvalues NCAA and KHL scoring? Overrating the KHL’s more understandable given the recent decline in talent there, but not sure what might be inflating the NCAA so much.

  6. Matmichkov

So the top 5 are the same as most public lists, just not in the same order.
I’d like to see the model, but it looks like a win in my books

  7. Lmao Bedard at third tells you everything you need to know about this model.

  8. Longshanks123

Exhibit A on why analytics on their own are severely limited on evaluating human beings as players.

If my math showed Bedard as the third best draft prospect I would have some common sense and not share it.

  9. HawkeyGawds

Leonard drops to the second round eh?

  10. pichenet14

Well – I can’t complain about a model that gets us Carlsson. đŸ€Ł

That’s literally the best scenario I have seen for the Habs.

  11. DogNard

Did this fella have a model from any previous years that I can compare to the actual draft in question?
