Bottom line is: your scouting team and management have to do their due deligence and turn every stone and pick according to the informations you’ve got. I don’t tkink they will based their decision on a SJ article siting an unamed scout and neither a Caps or Habs media outlet opinion. It’s going to be their pick.

The Habs have Nick Bobrov who has ties to SKA, not to mention that his father still works for the org… They will do their due diligence on Michkov. These reports are worthless.

Breaking news: Kent Hughes or Jeff Gorton don’t read hockey blogs. They don’t care what other “scouts” say. They have their own scouts and their own process.
Stop being toxic towards this kid. Y’all don’t know anything about him and you’re falling for every blog or fake reports about him.

There’s no way the other report from a CHI scout or this is one from a SJ is true. Active scouts don’t talk to the media period. Especially this time of year.
Possible they might be scouts in those regions but not affiliated with a team but there is no chance anyone who is paid by an NHL team is saying anything about this.

Big big drama coming out guys, don’t forget to tune in on draft drama Mondays for even more, even bigger drama!

I feel like the draft is so over thought and way too much importance is put on minute details because every team is trying to strike gold. It would be so much better if teams actually had development plans and gave prospects time and structure to reach the NHL rather than over analyze everything about them and give up when they aren’t NHL ready out of their first camp.

Only thing people are falling for is the deep desire to be “right” about a decision they will never get to make, to convince people they will never get to meet, based on information they will never have.

Of course there has to be some character concerns.
To many people will be incorrect if everything works out and he becomes a star.
There could be ALOT of problems in that bag or just a few. The real issue is that Nobody is willing to die on this hill.
