  1. That third goal in game 7 by Joe Sakic is my favorite goal of all time. What a player he was. Also Ray Bourque finally getting it done, Sakic handing him the cup right away – still makes me speechless, such a great moment.

  2. The absence of Forsberg cant be understated. He was the best player in the league when healthy. And at that time it really wasnt that close for a few years. Shame injuries just kept taking his time away from us.

  3. We just lost to the blues last night after leading 3-0 and 4-3 after THE MACKINNON GOAL.

  4. Is it freezing and skipping scenes because of the content or did did u mess up a few times and didn't bother to edit? No offense, but I can't stand it when people do that. I want to watch the whole thing man.

  5. It's crazy how just 5 years you thought this team was on a long rebuild and then smart trades and smarts picks in one year turned out to be a omen on how well built this team is and it paying off this year

  6. Man, I still hate that sister-in-law fucker Brodeur to this day. Thanks for uploading this.

  7. What a great time. Quick story: I was playing drums in a Denver band called Opie Gone Bad. We were tight with a lot of players on this team because our singer Jake sang all the national anthems and our band played at a lot of the home games to warm up the crowd.
Between game 6 and 7 we had a show at Red Rocks. A bunch of guys on the team came with their wives and girlfriends to the gig to hang out and relax. Usually these NHL guys are bouncing off the walls and always ready to party. But that night they were quietly just sipping their beers and watching the show. I’d never seen these guys so serious. It even made me tense. And of course the next night we know what happened. After they won, our band played at the team party and I got to drink out of the Stanley Cup. I also remember Shjon Podein wore his uniform for 24 hours straight after the game and even went to a bunch of nightclubs in his gear. Skates and all. Denver was SO MUCH fun back then and that team is still legendary around here. Go Av’s! Peace!

One of, if not the most iconic moment in Stanley cup celebration history.

  9. Congrats to the Avs in 2022! Great to have another Championship but this run was my favorite of the Avs 3 Cups.

  10. Idk how they managed to win without Forsberg they had to really leave it all out on the ice against that tough Blues and Devils team

  11. Ah, it's sad to see Stuart Scott on there. I miss his highlights at late night. He is still very missed!!! R.I.P. Stuart Scott 🙏🙏

  12. Winning it without Forsberg was like this team winning it without McKinnon. This team was so deep. Sakic was the captain and absolutely should have been, but Forsberg was the best player.

  13. The 2022 champion team was pretty special for so many who hadnt won but the hand off too Bourque is what being a true teammate and friend is all about
