  1. When I first heard the NHL was expanding to Vegas, I was worried and excited. A life long hockey fan in the desert. I would go to the parking lot in NYNY and watch the stadium being built. Would it work? Where there enough hockey fans? Would we stink for 10 years like the critics all said? I believe I went to their 3rd home game. I was shocked. Shocked at how nice T mobile was. I was shocked the pre-game entertainment and seeing kids excited. Shocked at how good this team was. But mostly shocked that 18,000 fans screamed louder than I did — even if I had to explain "offsides" to people. Years later I was mad we traded Fleury. I was excited we took a chance on Jack Eichel. I was thrilled our first Captain was Mark Stone. I went from a fan of hockey to a fan of the Golden Knights. So congrats Golden Knights. You earned that.

  2. Everyone share your Vegas Golden Knights story. I started mine in 2015 even before VGK was a thing because I remember seeing TMobile Arena being built and I said to myself I would root for the team that called it home. 2 years later and a team called it home and I became a fan. The elation I felt when the Knights went all the way to Stanley Cup Final was amazing and I was very sad to see the team lose then and for the next 4 years. Last year, after the Knights couldn't make the playoffs, I went to Vegas with my family to buy a Golden Knights hat but I couldn't find a single one. I ended up going home empty handed and just bought one online. That hat became a good luck charm because look at the team now! I love the Knights and I will keep supporting them! GO KNIGHTS GO!!!

  3. I remember talking to my then boss at work and him saying…"Tax payers, Community….This just won't work man,not here" and I remember mentioning that I had just gotten back from a Wranglers game (where I was a season ticket holder) and saying "Mark my words. This will be HUGE" and I remember looking at all the faces around me when I said that and the sheer look of "You are crazy" washed over all of them. I will forever cherish that moment and memory because from the start, VGK made an everlasting impact. And now…We have the Cup and as a fan before we even had a roster….I am and forever will be a VGK Misfit

  9. So surreal. I knew they would but when it happened I was in shock..not surprised but shocked. It’s taken a few days to process this win..love you guys! 🎉

Now to an even bigger dream for this team..not sure what that is but..WE DID IT!! You guys are this city’s spirit animal! Thank you for bringing joy back to our community..present and former players..these last 6 years. 💛🖤❤️

Mrs Karlsson should be an MVP. I said what I said. A queen. 👸 thank you to all the other wives, significant others and families supporting our vision and being in the trenches..this win is not possible without you as well! This win is as much yours as our VGK players!
