Tell me what you liked, what you didn’t like, and other thing.
👍 hottest win streak all season, hottest in division: 3w last 3, 5w last 6
👎 needed two SO in a row to get said streak… room for improvement to secure regulation wins with a lead (yes, nitpicky.. hard to find fault in a hot streak)
☝ 80's theme night without 80's jerseys? missed opportunity!
What i liked:, Hoglander 2 gos and demko solid play again. Petey shootout winner. Did not expect that move with how low he is on confidence
What i didnt like: Giving Jets a lot of shots and easy entry into our zones.
One other thing: why not the canucks? Players are believing in themselves and each other and coaching even short 2 top 4 dmen shows the resiliency. Boudreau took a worse record capitals team than when he took over the canucks and took that caps team to a 1st place division finish. Why cant he take a better record canucks to not just a 1st place division spot but at just a wildcard spot? If we can win every 4 of 6 games or go on mini runs like this we have a shot at making it. Just focus on winning 2 of evey 3 or 4 of every 6 and weekly gains
What I liked: Loved Garland's breakaway goal. CLEAN deke. Good job Hoglander for the 2 goals after having only 1 point in 11 games.
What I disliked: Pretty poor defense which is to be expected with the pieces they were missing tonight.
One other thing: We keep seeing glimpses of the Petey we know. So, can't wait till he finds his game again.
I like Patterson's play you can tell hes starting to get some confidence back and that's not just because he scored in the shootout. I didn't like Pearson's play he made me Facepalm several times and yell at the TV, I just don't think he is a top 6 forward or with his lack of offensive skill. Other thing is that I'd like to see Chiasson not try to pass the Puck away as soon as he gets it all the time I'm which is why they got the goal on his drop pass to nobody and DEMKO IS OUR MVP

I liked hoglander’s goals, I liked Pettersson’s Forsberg. I didn’t like that the Canucks on the OT PP only got 1 shot and it was an easy save. 1 other thing, we got another win, let’s goooo!
Do you think Bo is tough enough to be the Cpt? I see Landeskog stand up for his players and Bo doesnt seem to have a tough bone in his body
How much Jason paying you clay?
Myers made a few mistakes, but he also made some clutch defensive plays, I thought he had a very strong performance.
I like that 5 or 6 players are on a 20+ goal pace. Not bad distributed scoring if it ends up that way.
Two things I REALLY didn't like: 2nd OT in a row that they put out weird combinations (Pearson? Myers?). I get Horvat simply for his faceoff wins, but those guys were slow and didn't back off from low percentage plays to allow a better unit out there. The other was Poolman playing rover, clearly wanting to be the hero in the 3rd against his old team. Someone has to tell the guy to just stay back.
Boy they sure had a lot of Grade A chances to end it in OT. Podkolzin came sooooo close in the slot.

What I didnt like: the defensive play was lacking a bit this game (hughes I thought had a great defensive game though)
