I fully cover the NHL playoffs as well regardless of if my team makes the postseason, so if you are a Colorado Avalanche fan, a Winnipeg Jets fan or even an Edmonton Oilers or Vegas Knights fan this channel will be for you. Many people ask me what teams do I hate and my answer is NONE! Some people expect me to hate the NY Rangers or Boston Bruins since I am a Florida Panthers fan, but the reality is even since the NJ Devils and NY Islanders have beaten us in the playoffs, no ill will from me. I will admit however that I am not a huge fan of seeing teams like the Buffalo Sabres and Detroit Red Wings become good and possibly better than my Panthers. Nor do I enjoy the older teams like the Pittsburgh Penguins and Washington Capitals continuing to be as good as or better than my team, mainly because those teams have been so consistent over the years. Of course, I do enjoy seeing players who we traded do well in other cities like the Philadelphia Flyers and Vancouver Canucks, but I am used to it.
In terms of my Miami Dolphins, I will admit my feelings about the Buffalo Bills, NY Jets and especially the New Englad Patriots are not exactly loving. In addition, seeing teams like the Jacksonville Jaguars and NY Giants make it as far or further than the Dolphins is upsetting. I will admit to NOT liking the Kansas City Chiefs, and having a soft spot for the Green Bay Packers. Just like the NHL, I cover the NFL playoffs as well so even if you are a Cincinnati Bengals fan, or even a San Francisco 49’s or Philadelphia Eagles fan, again this channel will be for you. Teams I am hoping will make the playoffs next season include the Detroit Lions, NY Jets and maybe even the Denver Broncos, just for the fun of it all!

This playoffs reminded me of a stolen car chase… wheels fell off at the end bc we went so damn hard the first three series…loustarlien, Tkachuk, Gudas, Bob, we looked human and I won’t say it but the LTIR is such bs Tampa proved it… now Vegas proved it
Were on a magical roll until they met the momentum killer, nine days off. They couldnt get back to form. Knights aren't too shabby either.
Hey, Golden Knights fan here. You should be very proud of your Florida team. They had a Cinderella run to the finals, in which everyone counted out Florida on their brackets (I unfortunately made this mistake as well), and Florida kept on winning. It was as charming as the run that the Montreal Canadiens had in 2021. Everyone counted out Montreal, said they were dead to rights, and then next thing you know they will their way into the Final with clutch goal scoring and elite goaltending.
Boston in round 1 put Florida on skates, but Florida is great at skating. Florida would keep pressuring Boston and make them feel the heat when the world expected the opposite from them. The Panthers stole games from Boston and dominated their way to a game 7, which after tying the game late to force OT, the Panthers defeated the best regular season team in league history which is no easy mission.
Toronto wanted Florida, they got the best version of Florida that Toronto has faced all year and Toronto crumbled under Florida's offensive prowess.
Florida rode in to Carolina and battled in a war of attrition versus a very good offensive juggernaut. Florida did something special, and as the underdog, they took advantage of Carolina's miscues when it mattered most and swept the Carolina Hurricanes in convincing fashion. I actually got hyped when I saw Tkachuk score the OT winner in game 2, it was such a crafty play and you got to appreciate those plays as a hockey fan.
When Florida made it to the Finals, their many OT games and injuries throughout the playoffs unfortunately took its toll, but the crazy thing is, regardless of this adversity, Florida at times looked dangerous and applied good offensive pressure on Vegas. Even though Florida may not have won it all this year, this is a very good building block experience for this Panthers team, and I can see the Panthers riding into the 2023-24 season with a renewed vigor as a proven tride and true contender. You should absolutely be proud as a Panthers fan, and your coach is a class act and sincere human being.
I know the Knights have not been around very long, but by seeing the Knights lose elimination games throughout the team's history, I can appreciate how you are feeling right now. It is a sour, gut wrenching feeling, almost a numbing feeling at times but it is not the end of the world. Keep your chin up, Florida's time will come as Vegas has had their time now. Excited to see Florida contend next year in the same league as my Golden Knights!

Vegas was better in all parts of the game. Floridas biggest problems I think were: not scoring enough, no power play goals, giving up 2 or 3 goals early in games. They lost all the momentum and confidence they had coming in to the final.

Very depressing video bud, but I've been there twice now with my Bruins 2013 & 2019. Sucks but it was a great run for an 8th seed. Enjoy the summer with you're 2 sons. Cheers!

They were not healthy – 4 players with broken bones. I am sure Vegas could say same. Zito will be aggressive in offseason to make the team better… we will have about $7-9 million in cap freeing up. The Lightning had to lose a Cup Final before becoming a dynasty. We won a Cup Final game… next time we make it back here, we will finish the job. This hurts… it was tough getting outta bed this morning. But i have a LOT of hope for the future… maybe Q comes back, lol… We can re-tool the team and come back stronger. So… there is something to be said for be-LIE-f… i hear that Connor Helleybuck wants to leave Winnipeg , but maybe we can engage in a 3-team trade with a partner like Arizona to take on Bob…. this offseason will be interesting.
Thanks for doing these reviews after every game. It's almost therapeutic for me as I listen to you(happy or sad) on the way to work after panther games. Let's do it all again next season!
It’s been a hell of a ride we lived our best lives. It’s disappointing, but what an incredible two months we had looking forward to next season. This stings but great job everybody.
I agree with almost everything you said about the Finals except for the refs. Not saying the refs dictated the entire series because Vegas was the better team all around and our power play was awful. However Game 1 &2 we tried to play are style of “Hockey” that we play for first 3 rounds to take down the top eastern teams. We fight Panthers go to the box or gets a misconduct. As for Vegas they get a power play…Panthers look done when they realized they couldn’t play their style of Hockey without a penalty or misconduct.
What a run, at the very least we don’t have to make references to 96’ as the best year in franchise history. I do think this franchise is not going to make the same mistake where they will quickly go back to obscurity. The Florida Panthers have regained the casual South Florida sports fans respect. I really am excited for the future and see what Zito can come up with in the off-season (now that there’s gonna be a bit of cap space). Rest assured this team should make the playoffs again and now that they have tasted Cup Final failure, which quite a few teams go through as like the last rite of passage before they win the Cup. The Cup will make it’s way down to South Florida really soon! Til’ October, Go Cats Go!
Watched game 4 at the Miami Arena and went to the Rally at the arena after that loss and remember Mclean telling us we would we be back. 27 years. 27 years man…
End of day, the 9 days between canes knights series broke up the unbelelieveable momentum your team was riding. no doubt you win series. Take it from a flyers fan. these losses sting for decades. Respect to you and your team.

You should be proud of your team and that Cinderella run they had. They weren't even supposed to make the playoffs, and yet they did. They beat 3 strong teams to make it to the finals, and the Panthers were the underdogs. So many people doubted them, and many said, "Hockey doesn't belong in Florida." Maybe next year would be different. I don't know if it will happen again, but then nobody expected to Panthers to make it to the finals.
I joined in on this channel back in the first round and I havent looked back since. You guys are awesome and I'm sorry the result wasn't the one you wanted. I may be a Caps fan, but because of you guys, I will always have a soft spot for Florida. Incredible run, especially by an 8th seeded team. I hope the Panthers come back even stronger next year!

Im so proud of this team. Crappy way to end but this was the furthest a Florida Panthers team has ever gone and im so happy to have seen it. Cant wait for next year when we have a bit more flexibility in the cap and hopefully ice a healthy team. Great content and excited for the future!

The Woke Refs (especially Wes McCauley) cost the Panthers the series. Im calling like it is and how i watched florida constantly getting penalized. Too Biased. Anyways, Fuck Vegas, Florida should have had a better series down the stretch. No WAY IN HELL, Does florida lose 4-1 in the finals, CMOOON.

I was at the game and was like watching pros play against a AHL team. I got a lot of love for the panthers but that was just embarrassing. It was a gentlemans sweep. Canucks fan here, know a similar pain to our 2011 run ended by the B's. It SUCCCKS. But man, what a ride by you Panthers. Huge pat on the back, you fought off an Omnivore, you nipped the Buds and countered a Hurricane. Lyon has a bright future in Net, Giviani Smith would have been good to see for a game or 2 and you just need a tweak here and there I think,

I think all of us enjoyed watching what you guys did in the Boston series and I fully expected you were going to push us to a 6th/7th game . Honestly it just appeared they ran out of gas and were too banged up to keep up with our Knights. Maurice is a great coach. I would love to come see a game in your barn one day.
