And now Connor Hellebuyck just gave his notice he won't re-sign. Add him to the list of Dubois, Trouba, Byfuglien, Laine and Roslovic. Don't forget, Paul Maurice also left this team. The locker room is cancer and Wheeler and Scheifele needed to be moved years ago. Instead, management kept them around and lost a lot of good players around them.

PLD showed up for the first 4 games of the playoffs then had the infamous âLast Shiftâ all game long for Game 5.

Poor Winnipeg, that franchise is going to get completely decimated soon when they move Scheifele, Wheeler, Dubois, Hellebyuck, etc. This on top of them having trouble attracting free agents and it'll be a long 4-5 years, if not more. You have Morrissey and Ehlers, but what else? You're losing your former captain, your star goalie, your top line centre. This is why Mark Chipman was a complete idiot to not fire Cheveldayoff years ago, and instead signed him up to an extension.

He looks more and more like a selfish douche; this guy likes to give up on his team and demand a move faster than Leonardo Dicaprio trades his gfs in for next years model. And it's not like he even has the leverage of being a super elite player; he's not even in the same universe as guys earning $10M+ regardless of how highly he thinks of himself.

Last I checked you didnât choose who drafted you. Imagine if Crosby didnât want to play in Pittsburg or if Ovechkin didnât want to play in Washington. And they both babied their way out. PLD is a total diva
