  1. > Instead, the Avalanche obscured reality and pushed a false narrative. It’s disingenuous to say Nichushkin’s absence was not disciplinary. It suggests that any player could be involved in a police report and face zero repercussions.

If it was disciplinary, and he was sent home during the playoffs, wouldn’t you say that’s a repercussion?

I think the Avs org needs to be careful here. The more they obfuscate the situation, the worse it looks. The truth does come out. It’s just a matter of time.

Edit: Also in this article, The Athletic (NY Times) is divesting in regional sport’s coverage. Seems like regional sports coverage is getting more and more fucked. I really hope that we’ll still be able to watch and read about our teams in a couple years time. Damn.

    Awesome!

Here’s to being healthier and stronger this season.

Can’t wait to see how the draft and offseason turns out with trades and free agents.

Here’s to an amazing 2023/2024 season!

I hope he is better, I hope any issues have been resolved. We missed him so much on the ice.

Meh, if there was no crime, so be it, and no one is worried within the Avs, then I’m not going to add anything.
They’re professionals, they know more than I do, and ultimately, idgaf what a player does in their off times.

I’ll stick with the notion that he did hurt the team, but here’s hoping he’s out to make it up, and plays harder next season.
