What are you thoughts about the Winnipeg Ice moving to Wenatchee, Washington? I played in Wenatchee for two years and itās a great area and city with lots to do and I think it is a great move for Wenatchee and David White (owner of the Wild). Curious what you think!

Meir looked like a complete shmuck on the ice during the playoffs, was really irritating to watch. I'm not convinced buuut maybe he'll settle in with a full season on the Devils.

Trading Karlsson is going to be difficult,canāt see Grier not eating some of that 11.5 million cap hit to make a deal possible.

Meier was in a tough position after he got traded to NJ. He was just coming back from an injury and Ruff's offense isn't the easiest to learn. It was also the part of the schedule where there was little time for a large scale practice for the team so he was learning the system during games.
I really like Sharangovich and was thinking he was going to be another late round steal like Bratt. He has a pretty good wrist shot but it seems like that's all he has and that could be why his goals dropped this year. I'd say it also has to do with how he was used this year. IIRC he was on the PK a lot.
Blues might be in on Karlsson, But since OEL also got bought out they might take a crack at OEL as well. Blues need a Defeseman. And honestly I know Karlsson injuries and everything. But it's still Erik Karlsson. And he's still a very good player.
In the CoolHockey deal, I got the 2nd jersey free, but they still charged me $80 for the customization…. š¤
I think Timo in NJ will be great for all involved. Smart to head into arbitration. He's not with 10 million and everyone is aware. However, he is worth locking up long term in the 5-7 range. I think we'll see Wood and Sharangovich traded away. Both still young and depending on the team, I don't see why each wouldn't fetch a 3rd rounder or maybe even a 2nd for Sharangovich. Maybe even a trade package for Hellebyuck. However it's spelled. That's a leap but possible. Exciting time to be a NJ fan. I think once the goal tending is solid, they'll be cup contenders

Pesce has been thrown out there for so many years now, but this may be the year he is finally dealt. I think he should stay and we should trade Skjei if we are going to give up a 2nd pair Dman. Chatfield looked pretty good last season and he may be able to go up on the 2nd pair
Iām a Devils Channel. I donāt agree with Signing Meier for 8 years. I agree with 4 years l think him being 27 at the seasons start heāll be retiring a Devil basically. That isnāt worth 8 years, he didnāt shake the team up they were under 500 after aquiring him

The Red Winds not appearing on the board seems to be a good sign. With the hope the cap will be going up in 2024, the Wings are in good position to sign their current & future players to contracts. Let the trading begin. Teams having cap space will reap the rewards.

The Sharks can trade Karlsson and get value for him if they can get over the idea (which they were expressing publicly earlier in the year) that they shouldn't have to retain anything.
If Karlsson does not have a no-trade clause, how about Karlsson and the number 4 pick in this year's draft for Montreal's number 31 pick in the draft?
I heard 10 million for Meier and I was like Wah? No thanks I will pass 100% of the time for that deal. 76 points is his highest. That means that McDavid should be making about 25 million a year or so. All the little things argument is old. Most players in the NHL are playing defense and blocking shots. 4 points in 11 playoff games. 8 players ahead of him scoring in this years post season. Erik Haula who is muff cabbage out scored him. Sounds more like a 3 to 5 million dollar player.

The Ducks have need of a defenseman like Erik Karlsson and cap space. Whether or not they would be willing to do so at this time is questionable to make such an investment.

If the Leafs are going through with their plan to 'de-emphasize' the 'Core-4', then they should take a swing at Erik Karlsson by trading Marner or Nylander. They seem likely to ship off Nylander plus a draft pick or a prospect for Karlsson…

Meier may have had issues with scoring when joining Jersey, but I have a hunch that was just him getting used to the system. Once he's bought in he'll be an offensive rocket for Jersey. If that deal gets done, I'll look to add my first Devils jersey to my collection.
Where are these jersey sales at?
I will never order from Cool Hockey again! Three times I've had my order cancelled without reason. And each time they waited until the probable ship date before cancelling. Wonder if any one else has had this happen to them?! Of all the other places I order my jerseys from, there is never an issue. Best option for customized jerseys, for me, is Hockey Authentic.
SJS said they will retain 18-25% but I think at the right price they will retain the full 50% imo. Also Pittsburgh and Washington are best fits imo, Pitt has almost 21m cap space and Letang missed 18 games last year, Karlsson would be great for reassurance. Washington is good because Karlsson and Ovi would be nasty on the Powerplay and also they're trying to move Kuznetsov, SJS could take that contract back to make it work.
