The updated jersey design was done by the new Director of Uniform Branding, Sami Kapanen.
Youâre the opps if you purchase one of these.
I’m not expecting very much. From what was explained in previous leaks and other things, the jersey is just changing the orange. They may design it more based off some of the older sets without the black piping, but its not going to be a massive overhaul like I want it to be.

I really hope they keep the black alternate/3rd jerseys. I guess this first season we may not see them in order to oversaturate the fanbase on the changed uniforms, but I hope it eventually makes a return.
It’s the most photogenic out of all their jerseys, usually displayed in most of the marketing or social media posts that aren’t gameday related, and fits the “orange and black” slogan to a T.
