I grew up in the DC area, and know about all the "almost" and "maybe next year"…it was so joyous to finally see the Caps hoist the Stanley Cup!

In hindsight, and especially after the horrible antics Vegas fans pulled on those Avs fans by stealing their flag and pushing them to stop them from retrieving it, Vegas never deserved to win and I'm glad they didn't.

Almost been 4 years, I remember this game like it was last night, Prior to this season I’ve been a fan of the capitals since 2012, all of the round 1, 2, 3, losses finally paid off. June 7th 2018 is a day I will always remember. Although we might not win another cup for another 6 seasons that night will continue to bring back memories. Go Caps
