Who has more upside and why? Nils Hoglander or Podkolzin?
Podkolzin will be here long term imo. I'm a big fan of his potential and talent.
Id like the coaching staff to give Podz a chance at 3/4 line center. Hes got all the tools for the position.. the wheels and defensive chops.
My guy, the vacation is cancelled, our year is ruined, and our sadness is immeasurable.. for Golden Knights won the cup 🙁
For real though, I wonder if this is a good conversation topic for one of your episodes — for fans of older & now bad teams ( ie Canucks, Arizona, Senators etc) is there much of a point in staying loyal to just our one team we grew up with? As now-a-days the brand new teams are seemingly so overpowered & set up to succeed right from the start ( Knights / Kraken )
These teams are light years ahead of our older teams, and are bound to be contenders for a long time.
It seems hopeless to cheer for our life long teams as we are bound to mediocrity & watching new teams lap us.
Is it a good idea to pick a new favourite 2nd/backup team to watch in playoffs after our original teams inevitable fail? Even Toronto hasn't done anything in years, so the hope for these other teams is minimal.
Just for record I love Canucks and pray for them to win, it just hurts seeing Kraken & especially the Knights do so good so fast.

Podkolzin is a surefire bottom 6er with upside. I’ll take him he’s the type of bottom 6 guy you win championships with.

Whats wrong with Juulsen? Quinn don't need a superstar to play with to be effective.
In my opinion, Podkolzin will be the better player. He has value in the league as Hoglander doesn’t have much value
