Scott, I like your analysis and I would love Smith or Michkov obviously at 5. However, I'm sorry but I'm taking Ryan Leonard all day over Benson. Ryan Leonard is in your face power forward who we shouldn't under estimate. Ryan Leonard could be a star one day I wouldn't pass up on him over Benson.
To me , Benson is the one that make more sense, St-Louis gameplan is based around hockey iq and it screams Benson !
Habs should not Trade down in a draft as strong as this! It would be a colossal mistake. Draft the best player available. You are guaranteed either Carlsson, Michkov or Smith.
