First off, what's with that hair cut, Dangle? lol Never again, dude… Let it grow back. Anyway, it's still the core four, no matter how different the 3rd and 4th lines look. It's not going to change a thing because the mental makeup of the core four will not change. Different coaches, different GMs—it's not going to matter.
Being from Vegas the city knew that sports would thrive here. Once the 1st season started and the events of Oct 1st took place, the knights really helped the city heal and gave us something to be excited about again. We owe this team everything and it’s always going to have the support of the city.
Steve keeps harping on Mike Smith but the same applies to bigger name and contract like Shea Weber.
It wasnt just being the first, it was the creation of a new team as well. I said I would follow the fiest major league team to come here, but i would give them my all if they were an expansion team.

George is trying to talk about the character of the team and Oct 1 and Karlsoon throws his shirt to the crowd and starts chants while spraying the crowd with booze… he eventually just cut his speech short as all the attention was on the players

You should try to find Wild Bill leading the crowd in singing "Dancing Queen". The man is a legend now.
All this proves is how screwed up the cap is. Most teams would love to flush their current cap and roster and start completely over like Vegas. Parity is a joke most teams are boring to watch and there are too few stars to go around and if you are a team luck enough to get a good nucleus eventually the cap will take its toll and eat away at it piece by piece.

The only disagreement I have with you on the OEL situation is, that was never a Jim Benning move. Honestly, like MOST of his bonehead, head scratcher, where tf did that come from moves, those were moves he was forced into by ownership.
Canucks ownership is one of the worst in the league. They can’t just sit back and let the hockey people do hockey things. They got to stick their nose in everything.

I've never had any interest in going to Vegas before. I don't really party anymore and I hate gambling with a passion (so much so that I'm probably gonna have to move on from hockey and shows like this as a whole really…. Everyone in the hockey world seems to have sold their souls to gambling.. but Covid makes it ok i guess…?)… But now, there is a quality hockey team there in a great building…. I'm interested now.
The league should aim to have a number of teams divisible by 8, I don't see why the top half of the league needs to be in the playoffs. Top 16 works and if that means 20 teams not in, try harder for next year!
Keeping Keefe will be the downfall of this team. I just can't fathom why you would get rid of Dubas and not fire Keefe at the same time. This coach ain't it. Next year is already wasted.
