Any 10th pick available player can't be worth as much as 2 players from the 15-30th pick to the Mavs, because the Mavs really need young players too!
Draft: Olivier Maxence Prosper + Brandin Podziemski (still underrated player, a little Luka but much better sniper, better than G.Dick, J.Hawkins or B.Miller, even on rebounding)!

Then draft GG Jackson with 26 and James Nnaji with 32… they you hve young core of Green, Hardy as smaller guards and bigger guards centers in Murray, GG Jackson and James Nnaji…. top held secret this draft is that this is one of deepest drafts ever and you can get top prospects even with 35 pick! Dallas should trade whoever can fit and contribute right away. We still have a lot of centers in the team (Powell, McGee, Wood, Kleber). We may need to move one or two (get some value back from Wood and Powell if possible).

I would take Collins and 15 for THJ and Bertans. No way I through in 10 for that crap contract.
Thing about Lively is at the very least you wont have to break down shot. Hes instant defense. Mavs should take him.

No lively whatsoever… stop with the long stick figure "big men". If Hendricks isn't there trade down and get a couple more picks at least… try out an Amari Basket and Emoni Bates later…
Watch out for the "rising" guys in the draft… what goes up, must come down… and usually hard and fast
mavs are gonna mess up, their gonna watch other teams make moves, and mavs will be stuck with just some plain old players and fill holes that wont help the team any

Of course itās good for the Mavs that Lively is rising – unless theyāre married to trading down, which it seems like they are. Btw, take Hendrix over Lively or better yet just take the BPA! The Mavs, as usual, are to worried about getting off bad contracts and creating cap space.

I dont see us getting Allen Turner or Claxton and I am not overwhelmed by Capella at his age. I like Lively over him at this point getting a plus asset like Collins and 15 is a better deal especially if they toss in another 2nd to get it done. Teams are gonna reach on bigs in this draft because its guard heavy. At 15 Dick or Hawkins would be great

Final thought: In a conference with Ayton, Jokic, Sabonis, A. Davis, J. Jackson Jr. and now Wendy, the Mavs canāt afford to get cute. Draft Lively if heās even there at 10. Or suffer years of ā I wish we wouldāve just drafted him when we had the chance (Giannis, Gobert)ā. There are other ways to fill the need for a wing. Explain how trading down and missing on a legit big man (even if a bit unpolished) is going to address the problems I listed above.
lively is not nba ready, we need to draft a win now player or trade.
The Mavs can't trade the pick. They'd have to draft Lively trade him for whoever ATL drafts.

Sorry guys, I had a long day yesterday. lol. But I still don't like Lively. I watched him 3 times this season and just wasn't impressed at all. He just isn't very fluid and seemed totally lost every time i watched them play.
Miller falling to 10
Hear me out ā¦.we have so many glaring holes. Trade out of the 10th pick with Atl for a starterā¦..trade out of 15th pick for a starterā¦ā¦trade out of a late round first round pick for another starter.
So essentially weāre getting 3 rotation pieces for the 10th pick, by far the best value and dream scenario ā¦..as well as trading bad contracts with each player we receive (bertans, thj, McGee) in that order.
Just one year ago we got Christian Wood for the 26th pick so thereās still value trading the pick at the end of the draft. Nobody has floated this idea and if I were GM I would go for this scenario ā¦.any thoughts ?

Sounds like you guys really want another year with Powell at center.
I still trade back if Iām getting a solid starting center and a pick inside 15.. lively is not ready just yet when you have Luka and kyrie locked in alresdy !! They need an experienced vet .. lively is gonna take a while at least 2-3 years to even understand how to really really play at the next level ..
If we walk away with any of these three after the draft, I'll be happy:
1. Taylor Hendricks
2. Jarace Walker
3. Derek Lively
Really hoping dallas trades the pick. I don't feel good about any of the picks helping luka get back into the WCF
Analyzing next yearās prospects this may not be a draft you want to trade out of. Some of the best talent in the top 10 weāve had in years. I personally do not want the Mavs trading out of it but trading back in some deals could be worth it
