  1. Not sure I saw Keenan smile much either lol. Does not matter to me in the slightest. Bring us a cup coach!

  2. JUST FYI "compete" is not an adjective and not a noun. Compete is a verb. The word you use to indicate how hard players compete is "competiveness." Whoever started using "comptete" as a adjective is an idiot. "Compete-level" is "competitiveness."

  3. No one asked him what's his plan for his first 3-6 months? WTF? His inspirational message is "let's go to work?"oh….boy…I can see where this one is going. See you in 2 years when the next rebuild starts.

  4. the recycling of coaches in this league is so laughable.. idk why we fired Gallant if we were gonna go with this guy. theyre literally the same type of coach; stubborn, known to not make changes, favors vets over the young kids.

  5. Hopefully, he keeps Kane and Tarasenko or at least 1 of them. You never know what you’re going to get with them in a full season to see if they can gel together with us. I’m happy that Laviolette said that he wants to play the younger players, but I don’t think that he wants to get rid of Kane and Tarasenko. I think that Laviolette wants to keep them because that’s another way to help the kids because they need a mentor. Just trade Goodrow and get rid of Motte and put Kakko and Lafreniere on the 2nd line. It’s still a top line. I just feel that they’re more comfortable there.
