His message is to take the inconsistency and make it consistent, turn it around. The puzzle is there it just has to be put together logically .
This change of the head coach was completely unnecessary in my opinion, hopefully it won't backfire
This is such a breath of fresh air after Gallant. I think this team will benefit from Peters advanced strategy and ability to hold this team accountable to play the game a certain way.

It is what it is. I've been a die hard Rangers fan for 40 years. A new coach or a traded player won't change my love for this team. For those that are playing Monday morning quarterback, chill out. Just love this team! Laviolette is one of the best coaches in the league.
I don't think Laviolette is the solution. BUT, as they say, we'll see.

No knock on Lavio;ette but the Rangers should have given Messier a chance.
He's obviously a proven winner over and over again and would have the players' respect.
Messier is the story of ultimate success in New York. But for now, they've decided to con-
tinue to use retreads who will keep them on the NHL merry go round.

Laviolette has consistently demonstrated a propensity for preferring the aged veteran over the developing youngster, even to the point of having young talent beg for a ticket on the first bus out of Washington. Let's hope he breaks that tradition still uncertain if it's best coach solution. But let's see and get behind him and staff.
