Because there have been reports saying that teams are inquiring about his services. He’s set to become a restricted free agent. Despite his struggles, he’s still a young player with room to develop. Travis Green will replace Andrew Brunette as one of the assistant coaches next season.

Yeah I don't think he's coming back. He's not a great fit with NJD, and he can be a great fit somewhere else.
I'd be down with giving him a 1 year contract to see if he can pull out of this slump, and I'd also be okay with using him as a trade asset.

Tyce thompson, foote and holtz probably all need roster spots (holtz at least being exempt from waivers still) so i am ok moving on from sharangovich
I like Shar I think he's got untapped potential. I think we keep Shar and trade Jesper Boqvist to CBJ he can play with his brother.
Yegor was too disappointing. I lowkey thought he had a chance to be a 30 goal scorer this past season and build on from 24 goals the year before. Instead, he regressed like crazy
If the Devils can get a nice return for Sharonhovich i think a trade for him is good i dont them to just give him away for nothing though
Would be a mistake not to sign him atleast one more year depending on what money he wants he’s. Potential 30 goal scorer can’t lose another Zacha type guy
