Like how that obnoxious commentator was treating Brown like a joke until nadal was looking to go out.
First time I've ever seen a pro keep a ball in their pocket during return of serve.
This was one of the greatest diplays of dominant tennis ever. When Dustin Brown was on, he was unbeatable. Sadly, he was injury prone and was often not "on."
Brown has this match to remember. Nadal has 22 GS to remember. Why r we even comparing these two?

These microagrresive descriptions that they use – “flamboyant” and “unorthodox” ….I thought I watched somebody playing tennis with just magical touch and athleticism – basically, tennis. Didn’t see anything unorthodox out there – just tennis. And today, the potentially more talented guy played better. That’s all.

confidence.This very much reflected
in his matches.Even Djokovic took advantage of Nadal during this phase.Most of the matches even in
clay courts Djokovic won comfortably .Other wise their head to head results would be different
Dustin reminds me of what Matt Le Tissier was like as a footballer (mostly at Southampton FC – who were very much an UNDERDOG team in the English Premiership): REFUSED to CONFORM! SCORER of GREAT GOALS rather than great goalscorer, magical, captivating, unconventional, unpredictable, other-worldly, GENIUS!
P.S. A song that goes perfectly – in my opinion – with Dustin Brown's persona, temperament, character, spirit of grit and determination, adventurousness, spontaneity, hunger, drive and desire to win in a very exciting way is "Wake Me Up" by Avicii 😄
