Ad on the sweater is an instant disqualification

Big fan of the solid black collar.

I like the more rounded look of the end of the sleeve stripe now.

Not fan of single layer shoulder numbers.

    “New” color is perfect.

No piping, the solid numbers on the sleeves, and the nameplate, all turnoffs for me.

what really kills my opinion of these, as for most people, is the damn ad.

  4. No_Bank_330

You should add the price tags for proper comparative purposes.

Oh my goodness I thought I’d like them but I had no idea how much MORE I would like them the. Last year. I love these

Obligatory I hate ads on jersies, but the overall style I love.

  6. Most-Iron6838

Needs the black piping and outline for the shoulder numbers

I can live without the black piping, but the single color shoulders is horrible. These aren’t screen printed men’s league jerseys not really sure what the thought process was for that. They’ve never had single layer numbers. Otherwise they’re fine, I like the darker orange. I like moving away from a very forgettable 12 years as an organization.

Just wish it had piping. Honestly the changes aren’t that big but i do love them. Just wish we didn’t have a patch I feel the sweater is sacred and that’s a gut punch to hockey fans

Why can’t we just have nice things? This design is boring I wish they had really shaken things up and gone for a original or at least original to the Flyers design. These would have been good fauxbacks for a Winter Classic or the upcoming stadium game

They’re literally the original jerseys from year 1 except for the stripe on the waist.

Solid B+ from me. I know the contrasting name plate is a bit controversial for some in the unisphere, but I’m a big fan of the quirk and it’s very “Flyers”, so glad they kept it. This is a nice blend of the 60s/70s (the nameplate, the single color shoulder numbers), the 80s/90s (larger yoke thar fits numbers, black collar, darker organge). It’s a bit mish-mashy but in a good way. I don’t even mind the single color shoulder numbers. The Flyers look like the Flyers.

Only knock is the bad ad. It’s bad because its…an ad. It’d bad because it’s blue and so obvious. It’s bad due to the Hilferty nepotism connection. It’s a bad ad.

But overall, I think the design is good.

Just another disappointment in a decade chock full of them.

    The orange = good

    the jersey template = mediocre

    the shoulder numbers = bad

the sponsor patch = an abomination

Innovative and exciting. Words that haven’t described us in about 3 decades.

I was waiting for the side by side. Thanks! Like the new over the old.

  15. These are so good, I’m sorry. It goes without saying that the ad is ass, though. It should be a requirement that your sponsor’s color palette matches the team’s.

  16. CydonianHandler

…the old orange looks way better imo. not really a fan but to each their own.

  17. sitoverherebyme

Ok, so as expected, I hate the advertisement. We couldn’t have gone for like Wawa where it would have been black and blended with the theme? We had to do this? Are the helmets going to have this logo on it?

Health insurance companies are the absolute worst. I refuse to wear a jersey that advertises a health insurance company.

If this was a jersey given free to everyone, I could understand an advertisement, because it’d be free. But on a jersey you’re paying $100+ for? Absolutely not.

They should have used the numbers from the mid 1990’s. The 70’s number style is a bit of an old gimmivk now
